Rescue Every Distressed Indian Overseas (REDIO) was set up last year to coordinate with Indian missions abroad, expatriate Indians and people of Indian descent.The company has recently launched a new chapter in America.Dr.Gnaneshwar Mule, a former Indian diplomat and member of the National Human Rights Commission, co-founded the US chapter on “REDIVO” with New York-based social activist Prem Bhandari.Prem Bhandari is the chairman of the company in the United States.
Speaking on the occasion, Mule said, “Currently, more than 30 million Indians have settled in different countries.
They are at the forefront of education, business, media, arts, culture, politics and many other fields.In this order, immigration, employment, political uprisings in other countries, legal issues, property disputes, marital problems, etc., said that their organization would be supportive of such people.“We are trying to reach out to NRIs, PIOs and OCIs with the aim of getting support groups in every country,” Mule said.He hoped that in the long run, REDIVO would support Indians around the world.
Prem Bhandari said .Overseas Indian community members have expressed concern that there are times when they cannot reach home due to some problems.Bhandari said members of the Indian community were receiving help unofficially through their contacts and networks.
