Mumbai, December 13, 2017 : .Lending giant SBI Monday stated that it tried to discourage employees from participating in the planned two-day strike on December 16-17.In the interests of its customers and investors, the SBI asked staff to reconsider their decision.
The bank stated in a statement that “considering the current pandemic situation,” a strike would cause significant inconvenience to stakeholders.
Bank aims to provide normal banking services during the 16th and 17th of December 2021 to customers in all branches and offices.
However, the SBI also requested its customers to undertake transactions well in advance and use the digital channels for payments or money transfer and other related services in the likelihood of services being interrupted or being partially available.
