Mumbai, Dec 6 : Actor Ssumier S.Pasricha, who is also fondly remembered for his character ‘Pammi Aunty’, will be soon seen in Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor-starrer ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’.
The actor will be sharing the screen with Ayushmann in the film.He said that he wanted to get a break from Pammi Aunty, and when Mukesh Chhabra called me, he assured me that this role would give him a new image.”
He says that he cannot speak about his role as it is too early to see the film in theatres.”
” I need this change because most casting directors think of me in comedy roles.This was when I wrote a post on social media stating that casting directors need to broaden their horizons.Within two days, I received a call from Mukesh Chhabra and was then selected for ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui.Mukesh was kind enough to read my post on social networks.”
Ssumier is also very fond of his director Abhishek Kaplan.”He is a serious person who is focused on the set.That’s what I love most about him.It’s also good news for the actors.He smiles whenever he gets a good shot from his actor.My favourite of his films is ‘Kai Po Che.”
