Patna : , Nov 23, 2009 The mobile tower collapsed and was destroyed in the explosion of high intensity that took place Monday night in Juhari village.Another Kisan Bhawan nearby was also affected.
Locals claim that hundreds of Naxals arrived in the village to destroy the tower.
The villagers stated that the Naxals had also threatened them to keep silent.
The police were not notified of the Naxals’ presence.They added that the Naxals had also set up an ambush along the escape route after leaving the village.
This incident occurred after Prashant Bose, alias Kishan Das and Sheela Marandi were arrested as Jharkhand’s top Naxal commander.
They were both arrested during a joint operation by the Jharkhand Police Force and CRPF.
Naxal and Maoist organizations have declared three days of Bharat Bandh as a response to these arrests.
