Beirut 23 November : , Lebanon marked Monday’s 78th Independence Day by a military parade.The Presidency of Lebanon released a statement.The parade was held at Yarzeh Defense Ministry, southeast of the capital Beirut.It began with a 21 gun salute and ended by President Michel Aoun laying a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Helicopters from the Lebanese Air Force and Tucano aircraft flew above the site, bearing a Lebanese Flag.
The military parade was then followed by the General Security Forces, the Internal Security Forces, and the General Security Forces.
A day before, President Aoun delivered a speech to commemorate the occasion and vowed to help Lebanon recover from the crisis.
