Chandigarh : , Monday 22 November : .Chief Minister Arvind Kehriwal of Delhi, on Monday, promised Rs 1,000 per month to all Punjabi women’s accounts if Aam Aadmi Party is elected to power at the 2022 Assembly elections.The old age pension will be increased by Rs 1000 for the women who are over 60.
The Chief Minister of Delhi Charanjit Channi called his Punjab counterpart Charanjit Chaney a “fake Kejriwal”, and said that this was the largest women empowerment program in the world.
Kejriwal announced that all women over 18 years old would be entitled to this benefit at an Moga town public meeting.
He stated that if a family includes three women, each member will receive Rs 1000 per month.
The AAP’s national convener stated that money was not a concern for any government when it comes to generating the resources needed for fulfilling this election promise.He stated that the AAP government in Punjab would handle funds and eliminate all mafias if it was elected.
Kejriwal stated that Punjab is destined for a bright future if the state government shows good intentions and takes the correct approach to development.The course of Punjab’s 2022 Assembly Election will be decided by the women.
He said that Channi is trying to duplicate the AAP policies and programs.Do not believe his claims.”I keep my word to all the people.”
2017 saw AAP emerge as the second largest party, winning 20 seats at the 117-member Legislative Assembly.
