The votes polled for the ten ZPTC and 123 MPTC seats in the state of Andhra Pradesh Parishad elections held on Tuesday will be counted today.The counting of votes will begin at 8 am, the state Election Commission’s office said.

Officials said that the results of the MPTC elections would be announced by 10 am, and the final results at the ZPTC polls would be announced by 12 pm.

The results in the ZPTC polls in the remaining Parishads, which were postponed, will also be announced on Thursday.In the past, the YSRCP candidate was 517 votes ahead of the BJP candidate.Counting staff at that time concluded that the votes cast at the two polling stations with a total of 827 voters at the Goriganur for MPTC seat and ZPTC seat were wet and could not be counted.

The election was adjourned without announcing the result as the difference in votes between the candidates was 517, and the remaining votes were uncounted.As many as 757 votes were polled in the two polling booths on Tuesday.

These 757 votes will now determine the winner of that ZPTC.
