Health Ministry says the recovery rate of Covid-19 in India touches record high on Sunday.
Here is good news for everyone, the Indian Health Ministry said the recovery rate of Covid-19 patients has surged to a record high of 70,072 patients on September 5.This is the highest single-day number ever that changed the recovery rate to 77.23%.With this, the Case Fatality Rate (CFR) has brought down to 1.73%, disclosed the ministry.
As per the records, the number of Covid-19 patients recovered are above 57,000 on August 24.Since then the number is seeking up and on September 1 it touched 65,000 mark.Consequently, the total number of recoveries have also increased to 30 lakhs in September.
According to the ministry, of all the states, five states have been exceptional in the past week regarding recoveries.
Though Maharashtra is the most affected state of Covid-19, it stood at the top place with 21% recovery rate.While Tamil Nadu (12.63%), Andhra Pradesh (11.91) Karnataka (8.82), and Uttar Pradesh (6.14) have contributed their share to the 60% of the total recoveries.
On the other hand, India has also registered the highest single-day new Covid-19 cases of 86,432 taking the total tally to more than 40 lakhs.
