There has been a controversy surrounding the film Rangasthalam.Apparently, the Yadava community members have raised an objection to the lyric in one of the songs of the film.
They have felt that the word Gollabama in the song is hurting the sentiments of their women in the community.
The Yadava community members have threatened that they would fight against the film and will try to stop the release of the movie.
Sukumar, the director of the film has interacted with the media today morning and has responded to the controversy.When a journalist asked the question, Sukumar said that Gollabama means grasshopper and asked people not to derive different meaning for no reason.
Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the film while Chandra Bose is the single card lyricist for the movie.The film is scheduled for a grand release towards the month end.
