San Francisco, Aug 22 : After the announcement of the ability to retrieve deleted messages in its most recent beta iOS update Meta-owned WhatsApp has now released an option that lets administrators of groups delete all messages in the group.The feature is only being released to a handful of lucky beta testers and it could take a while before it is available to the rest of the accounts, says WABetaInfo.
“If you’re an group administrator and you are unable to remove messages from other participants, please pause for a new update as more activations will follow in the coming weeks” the report stated.
The report also stated that it’s a vital feature for group administrators since they will be able to manage their WhatsApp groups more effectively.
Additionally, when the message is deleted for all in the group, all the other participants will be able to observe that a particular administrator of the group deleted the message.
Recently, WhatsApp began rolling out the capability to monitor Status directly from WhatsApp’s chat list to iOS users.
The beta version 22.18.0.70 includes the possibility of viewing status updates in the chat list.It is available to a select group of beta testers and , therefore, it’s not yet accessible to all users.
