Kumar stated that this fraudulent activity occurred during Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s tenure as Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister from 2014 to 2019.

He expressed concern over missing files related to the scam, highlighting that this issue has gained national attention.

He also pointed out that the officials who signed the agreement with Siemens were not employed by the company.

Kumar revealed that the GST had informed the state government about the scam when Naidu was in office, but no action was taken.

He questioned why Naidu hasn’t applied for bail despite thorough scrutiny of the evidence leading to his remand.

In response to Naidu’s situation, Kumar suggested that if Naidu wishes to read or take walks in jail, there are adequate facilities available.

He criticized TDP leaders for their verbal abuse towards the judge who remanded Naidu.

Furthermore, Aruna Kumar recommended that Chandrababu Naidu should receive medical attention at the local government hospital and have an air-conditioned room due to his health concerns.

Kumar emphasized that only a CBI investigation will reveal the truth. He filed a PIL in the High Court to pursue this course of action and expressed surprise at baseless allegations made against him by TDP leaders.

He advised the TDP to refrain from criticizing the court, prisons, or other departments, as they operate within the framework of the constitution and jail guidelines.Kumar also urged the YSRC not to mock Naidu, recognizing his 35-day confinement.

He concluded by urging the state government to promptly provide all necessary amenities to Naidu in jail.
