Shah Rukh Khan once revealed that he owned a collection of 150 awards during an award show.The incident occurred at the 2013 IIFA Awards, where Shah Rukh was the host.
He asked actress Vidya Balan from the audience about her number of awards, to which she humorously replied she had 47.This prompted Shahid Kapoor, another host, to inquire about Shah Rukh’s own awards.
Shah Rukh Khan responded, saying he didn’t keep track of his awards and had around 155 of them.The audience applauded his response.
However, Vidya Balan playfully asked him how many of those awards he had bought.After a moment of silence, Shah Rukh admitted that about 150 of his awards were purchased, leaving Shahid Kapoor in shock.
Interestingly, Vidya Balan had jokingly mentioned during the promotion of her movie “Neeyat” that she would ask Shah Rukh Khan about his favorite actress if she ever got a chance to be a detective.Even though she already knew the answer, she still wanted to hear it from him.
Notably, Shah Rukh Khan and Vidya Balan have not acted together in any film until now.Shah Rukh Khan’s recent projects include the blockbuster “Pathaan” and the upcoming action movie “Jawan,” directed by Atlee.The film will showcase him in various roles, alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone.Additionally, Shah Rukh will be seen with Taapsee Pannu for the first time in Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming movie “Dunki.”
