TV actress Jasmin Bhasin faced criticism from netizens after she shared photos from her recent trip to Abu Dhabi.In one of her posts, she was seen wearing a teal-green burqa at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
Unfortunately, some people started trolling her, and a few even targeted her boyfriend, actor Aly Goni, accusing him of forcing her to wear the burqa.
On a Saturday, Jasmin, a former contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss, posted a reel from inside the mosque.
She looked beautiful in her teal green outfit, complemented by black shades and a purse.Gracefully walking in the video, she added Amit Trivedi and Sunidhi Chauhan’s song “Voh Tere Mere Ishq Ka” as the background music.
However, shortly after posting the video, a certain group of people began trolling Jasmin.
One netizen commented, “Do you have no manners? Don’t you know that shoes are not allowed in the mosque? Show some respect.” Another user even remarked, “Seems like she has changed her religion.”
However, Jasmin’s fans quickly came to her defense and criticized the trolls.One fan mentioned that even Avneet Kaur, another actress, had worn similar attire when she was in Abu Dhabi, emphasizing that it was a part of their cultural experience.
