By Ashe O Washington 16th August : Another Trump supporter has reacted against Trump.Laura Ingraham, Fox News host, widely regarded as a staunch supporters of the former President has stated that a war-weary nation may be ready to let go of Donald Trump and look for someone in the Oval office with his policies, but without his baggage.
This was even as Trump demanded the release of the entire unredacted affidavit that led to the FBI raid on his Florida residence.
Laura Ingraham said it could be a good time to start searching for a candidate who shares Trump’s political views but without the baggage in the event that he choose to run for reelection in 2024.
“The nation, I think is exhausted,” she told podcaster Lisa Boothe of The Hill.
“They’re exhausted from the battle, the never-ending battle that they could believe that it’s perhaps time to turn to the next page, if we could find someone who shares all Trump’s policiesbut is not Trump,” Ingraham said Ingraham added that Trump has been a friend of hers for over 25 years, “but, you know we’ll have to see what the nation is looking for,” The Huff Post stated in an updated version of an article published on Monday.
In the meantime, Trump called for the immediate release of the “completely unredacted” document that was used in the FBI raid of his Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida this week.
Following the Department of Justice said it did not agree with the release of the affidavit Trump declared via his Facebook website Truth Social that the move is in the name of “transparency” and he called for the judge Bruce Reinhart, who is in charge of the case, to be removed from the case.
“There is no reason to support the unannounced raid of Mar-A-Lago the residence of the 45th President of the United States (who got more votes, far more than any president in the history of our Country! ) and was accompanied by a large number of gun-toting FBI Agents, as well as the Department of Justice, Trump wrote on the platform.Trump declared on his platform late on Monday.”But, in the interest of TRANSPARENCY I am calling to immediately release of the complete redacted document relating to this horrifying and shocking BREAK-IN,” media reports stated, quoting Trump.
However, the polls have so far shown Trump has an easy way to win his GOP nomination should he decide to run in 2024.
However, a poll conducted last month showed that over 50% of the Republicans prefer someone else to be in the upper echelons of the list.Another poll found that over half of all voters don’t wish for Trump to run for reelection The Huff Post reported in an updated piece.
But Ingraham as well as a host of Fox News personalities supporting Trump publicly, was a bit concerned in the background on the 6th of January, 2021.In a sequence of messages discovered by the House select committee that is investigating the Janusary 6 attack on Capitol Hill, Ingraham had urged the then White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to have Trump issue a statement on the attack at the US Capitol.

The Washington Examiner said Reinhart did permit the publication of the warrant of search that was approved by the court and an inventory of the Mar-Algo raid.
The warrant authorized the FBI to take from the Trump’s Florida property “all physical documents and documents that are evidence of contraband, evidence and fruit of crime, or any other items that are illegally owned” which could be in violation of three federal laws that include the Espionage Act.
The Department of Justice’s 13-page affidavit was a defense against the release of the affidavit on Monday, according to media reports.
“If the affidavit is made public, it will serve as a reference point for the ongoing investigation by the government and provide specific information about its direction and the likely direction, in an approach that is likely to compromise any future investigation actions,” the filing said.
“The truth that this investigation is involving highly classified material further emphasizes the importance of safeguarding the integrity of the investigation.It also increases the danger of harm if information is released to the public too early or in a way that is not properly.”
The Department of Justice, however stated that it did not have any objection to the publication of additional documents, such as the cover sheets for search warrants as well as the motion to seal as reported by Fox News.
