TSPSC is going to face a row of retirements from the higher officials soon.
It is known news that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced to recruit 50,000 posts in the government departments.
But according to the latest reports, the Telangana government has to fill the vacancy of the chairman and other members in Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) first before recruiting those 50,000 posts.
The latest reports say, the chairman Ghanta Chakrapani and three more members of TSPSC will retire on, December 17, and the commission is going to have just two members after that.
Along with Chakrapani, C Vittal, B Chandravathi and Mohd Mateenuddin Quadri have completed six years of their term.Consequently, the recruitment process becomes more critical as one member of the two will retire on, March 18 next year.
Accordingly, the commission will have only one member to carry the proceedings forward.
According to the sources, the commission has the size of 11 members, and five members had already retired in the past.
Hence, several people have expressed their doubt on the recruitment process as CM KCR announced a massive recruitment drive on Sunday. It is interesting to see how the government handles the situation with just one person in the commission.
