The Congress party is having a tough time finalizing its candidates for the upcoming elections in the undivided Nizamabad district.They’ve confirmed candidates for three out of the nine constituencies: Bodhan, Balkonda, and Armoor.

However, there’s a lot of pressure within the party regarding who will be chosen for Nizamabad Urban, Nizamabad Rural, Banswada, Yellareddy, Jukkal, and Kamareddy constituencies.

For Bodhan, Armoor, and Balkonda, the party has chosen P.Sudarshan Reddy, P.Vinay Kumar Reddy, and M.Sunil Kumar Reddy respectively.

In Nizamabad Rural, there’s a tight competition among R.Bhupathi Reddy, A.Narsa Reddy, and K.Nagesh Reddy, all vying for the MLA ticket.

Narsa Reddy and Nagesh Reddy are especially hopeful.

Narsa Reddy recently joined the Congress, and Nagesh Reddy, who is actor Nithin’s uncle, is also in the running.

Bhupathi Reddy, a doctor, has been in politics for a long time and was a founding member of BRS.He recently joined the Congress after leaving his post as an MLC.

In Nizamabad Urban, there are several candidates in the running, including B.Mahesh Kumar Goud, D.Sanjay, Taher Bin Hamdan, and N.Ratnakar.

Former MLC Akula Lalitha, who was with BRS, has resigned and is expected to rejoin Congress.She’s eyeing the MLA ticket from Nizamabad Urban.

Senior Congress leader Mohammad Ali Shabbir’s name wasn’t in the first list of candidates.He’s likely to be announced for Kamareddy in the next list, where Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao is the BRS nominee.
