During the meeting held in Hyderabad on Tuesday, the PAC weighed two options: a swift week-long tour commencing on October 15, or commencing the bus journey post-Dasara, likely around October 25, after announcing the party’s candidate list. The latter choice would enable the party to conduct the bus yatra in stages until the end of the campaign.

The PAC has resolved to consult with the party high command to set the schedule for the bus yatra.“Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi have assured us that they will dedicate ample time for campaigning in the state,” stated Revanth.

TPCC chief A.Revanth Reddy informed the press that considering the importance of national leadership campaigning in other states, the party will plan its bus yatra accordingly. He mentioned that during the meeting, the party decided to establish a committee tasked with documenting government officials favoring the ruling BRS.

This panel will also oversee media reports to take legal action against reporters and media executives disseminating false information.Revanth accused, “Government officials play a pivotal role in elections.

However, some officials go above and beyond for the pink party, in blatant violation of the election code. This is evident from the DGP, who is an AP cadre IPS officer, down to lower-ranking DSPs and CIs, as well as IAS officers.

Finance Secretary Ramakrishna has held the same position since the formation of Telangana.Even with the enforcement of the election code, he has been releasing funds.”

He alleged that collectors in almost all districts are preoccupied with shortlisting beneficiaries for the Dalit Bandhu scheme in order to disburse funds. The TPCC chief stated that the party would file complaints with the Election Commission of India.Clarifying that the Congress is currently in the process of shortlisting candidates for the Assembly elections, he noted that names for Council and corporation chairpersons would be finalized after assuming power.

A Panel for Unfortunate Aspirants

Revanth disclosed that AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal has appointed a special committee to provide assurances to aspirants who may not be fortunate enough to secure a ticket. This committee includes AICC Telangana in-charge Manikrao Thakre, Parliamentary in-charges Deepa Das Munshi, Meenakshi Natarajan, and K.Jana Reddy.
