Covid is booming once again in India.While 482 positive cases were registered in Telangana on Monday alone, the highest number of 397 positive cases were registered in Hyderabad, Rangareddy and Medchal districts.

Of the 423 people who arrived at the Shamshabad International Airport from abroad, 23 were diagnosed with covid.They were then moved to TIMS.
Samples were collected from them and sent for genome sequence tests to find out which variant they were infected with.Results are currently pending for 53 samples.
