The main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party, leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu has demanded the imposition of presidential rule in the state.He was incensed that law and order in the state had deteriorated.
Speaking on this occasion, he condemned the attack on TDP offices across the state.He said he had never seen such attacks in his political life.
Chandrababu said that there were no attacks on any party office in any government in the past.He said it was very unfair to attack their party office which was a hundred yards away from the DGP’s office.
He criticized that the DGP could not reach the spot on time when they phoned to inform about the ongoing attacks on their party offices.With this, Chandrababu finally complained to the governor.
Also, Chandrababu alleged that large-scale cannabis smuggling is happening in the state.Chandrababu was incensed that cannabis was being cultivated in AP and is getting supplied to other states across India.
Chandrababu called for a statewide bandh in AP to protest against the attitude of the YCP government and AP police.He said attacks on TDP offices were undemocratic.
