Prince Mahesh Babu’s next film “Brahmotsavam”, which was officially launched on last Sunday, will go on floors from July 10.Director Srikanth Addala calls it a neat family entertainer.According to reports Tamil actor Sathyaraj, who has worked in Telugu films “Mirchi” and “Sankham”, has been roped in to play Mahesh Babu’s father in “Brahmotsavam”.
“Sathyaraj will be playing Mahesh’s father.Since the makers are promoting the film as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, they felt Sathyaraj’s presence in a major role will appeal to Tamil audiences,” a source from the film’s unit told.
Rakul Preet Singh and Praneetha Subhash have paired with Mahesh in the movie, which is being produced by PVP Cinema.
Addala and Mahesh are teaming up for the second time after Telugu blockbuster “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu”.
A couple of movies of Prince Mahesh have been dubbed into Tamil so far.But none could run well at Kollywood box office.So makers wants the film to have some tamil flavour and roping actors from Kollywood.
