Recently veteran director K.Raghavendra Rao has announced a sequel to his yesteryear blockbuster movie ‘Pelli Sandadi’, which was released in 1996.The film ‘Pelli Sandadi’ starred Srikanth, Ravali, and Deepthi Bhatnagar in the lead roles which remained as one of the biggest box office hits of Srikanth’s career.
The sequel is titled as ‘Pelli SandaD’ where Srikanth’s son, Roshan is playing the main lead and Malavika Nair is roped in to play the female lead in this film.
Raghavendra Rao’s assistant Gowri Ronanki is directing this flick while the veteran director will be supervising her.
Now the latest interesting news is that hero Srikanth is playing a short but pivotal role in the film which becomes the reason for a major twist in the story.It is also being said that the scenes between Roshan and Srikanth are going to be a major highlight for the film according to the makers.

Keeravani, who scored music for the original, is on the board to compose music for this sequel as well.The movie’s pre-production works are coming to an end currently and the film will hit the floors earlier next year.
The makers are planning to release this Roshan starrer in the second half of 2021.Stay tuned for more updates!
