Kannada Super Star Kiccha Suddep has officially announced his support to BJP.He along with fellow Kannada star Darshan Thoogudeepa will be joining the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and other key leaders.Both BJP and Sudeep have reportedly confirmed the development.
This is a big development as the election bells rang in poll-bound Karnataka and the parties were busy with Operation Akarsh.
He hails from the Valmiki Nayaka community which accounts for seven percent.Political experts say that they voted for the BJP in the last elections and there is a high chance of this happening again.
Ahead of his joining in the BJP, star hero Kiccha Sudeep received two threatening letters.It is said that the miscreants used objectionable language in the letter and warned that his personal videos would be made public.Suddep’s manager Jack Manju filed a complaint.The case was registered with the Puttenahalli Police Station.
The Police are investigating the matter from the angle of who sent the threatening case.
Meanwhile Sudeep has said that he will not contest the Karnataka Elections for the BJP and he will only campaign for the saffron party.
On the threat letter, Sudeep said that he will give a befitting reply to the sender and added, “Yes, I have received a threat letter and I know who sent it to me.I know it is from someone in the film industry.I will give a befitting reply to them.I will work in favour of those who stand by my side in my tough times.”
Kiccha Sudeep is one of the star heroes in the Kannada film industry.He is also familiar with Telugu audiences.
He made a promising debut in the Tollywood industry with the visual wonder Eega.
