Popular music director Srinivas Chakravarathy aka ‘Sri’ is no more.Sri who has been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad few days back died today.
He is son of legendary music director Chakravarthy.It has been known that he has been unwell for the past few months and suffering from kidney related decease.
Sri started his career as a music director with Police Brothers and went on to compose nearly 20 films.Sri has composed music for movies like Money, Little Soldiers, Sindhooram, Gaayam , Anaganaga Oka Roju, Ammoru, Saahasam.
His last film was Aadu Mogadura Bujji starring Sudheer Babu.
He is also a playback singer and his song Jagamantha Kutumbam Naadi in the film Chakram became a hit in 2005.
He has sung most of his songs in Krishna Vamsi films.Especially, Hai ro Hai Jamapanduro Song from Sindhooram movie shakes the whole Andhra Pradesh.
He has also worked with Ram Gopal Varma.
He was the lead anchor for the show Anthyakshari in Gemini TV which was telecasted during 1995.
Singer Sunitha was the co-anchor for that show.It was huge hit during that time.
This is a big loss to the industry and the entire industry is mourning his sudden demise.May his soul rest in peace!
