Actress Sara Ali Khan has expressed her desire to be a part of the upcoming film Aashiqui 3, which stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead role.The film is directed by Anurag Basu, who is also directing Sara in her upcoming film Metro In Dino.
Although no female lead has been finalized for Aashiqui 3 yet, a report by Bollywood Hungama claimed that the makers are in talks with Sara for the film.
Sara and Kartik were previously rumored to be in a relationship while shooting for Love Aaj Kal 2 in 2020.
Although they reportedly parted ways later, their chemistry was much talked about.During an appearance on Koffee With Karan, filmmaker Karan Johar confirmed that Sara had dated Kartik in the past.
The Bollywood young actress Sara is now shooting for Metro In Dino, which also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal.She also has Karan Johar’s Ae Watan Mere Watan in her pipeline.
On the other hand, Kartik was last seen in Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon and will be seen next in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani.
Recently, a picture of Sara and Kartik surfaced on social media in which they were seen together in Udaipur, Rajasthan.Reacting to the picture, Kartik said that they happened to be in the same place, and someone took their picture.He added that he was surprised that only one or two pictures surfaced as many people were taking their pictures.
Sara has also recently released her film Gaslight, which has received positive reviews.If Sara gets selected for Aashiqui 3, it will be interesting to see her chemistry with Kartik on screen once again.
