It is already known that there has been demand of awarding NTR with Bharat Ratna for years but it seems it is now intensifying.Every year, all state governments recommend the names of various persons for the awards such as the Bharat Ratna and Padma awards.
But there were reports emerged that Naidu not recommended NTR name for Bharata Rathna.This has caused confusion among the fans of NTR and many started blaming the AP CM.Recently N.T.Rama Rao’s widow Lakshmi Parvathi staged a dharna at NTR Ghat in protest against the AP government not recommending the name of NTR for Bharat Ratna.Andhra Pradesh cabinet has passed resolution urging the central government it to consider the founder of Telugu Desam Party and dynamic actor late NTR for the India’s highest civilian award ‘Bharat Ratna’.
The cabinet, which met here under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, passed a resolution to this effect demanding that the Bharat Ratna be conferred to late NTR considering his great service to society.The cabinet also passed a resolution demanding construction of a memorial of former Prime Minister late PV Narasimha Rao in New Delhi.
Its worth to mention here that recently AP Govt wrote a seven pages letter narrating the achievements made by NTR and quoting why he deserves it.The recommendation of names for the Bharat Ratna is made to the president by the prime minister himself.So, finally let us see how the central would respond on it.
