The MIM party has been playing a critical role in the Andhra Pradesh politics.They have an iron grip over the Muslim minority vote bank in the Telangana region to a large extent.
Recently, MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has finally come in front of the media now with the report that his party had sent to the Group of Ministers regarding AP’s bifurcation.
Owaisi reportedly said that as a matter of principle MIM still opposes bifurcation of AP but in case Telangana formation is inevitable, then Rayala Telangana should be formed with Ananthapur and Kurnool districts saying that Rayalaseema will be destroyed with AP bifurcation.
He also added that in no way will they agree for Hyderabad to be made an official UT or an unofficial UT which is being contemplated by the Central government.
