Rajagopal Reddy resigns from Telangana Assembly

Hyderabad 8 August : Komatireddy Rajagopal on Monday announced his resignation from the Telangana Assembly.
The MLA for Munugode announced his resignation to Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy.

This was just a few days after he announced his decision to resign from the Congress party and from the Assembly.

Rajagopal Reddy told the reporters that the Speaker had accepted his resignation.

Reddy who has made the decision to join the BJP has claimed that several members of the Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) were in contact with the party.

Before making his resignation known to Speaker Rajagopal Reddy offered tributes at the Telangana memorial for the martyrs in Gun Park near the Assembly.

He said that the TRS has become a political party of Telangana the traitors.He said that some of the leaders who were appointed ministers were against the statehood of Telangana.

Rajagopal Reddy said he resigned from the Congress and decided to join the BJP to fight to liberate Telangana from the wrath of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao.He declared that the fight will commence with the by-election for the Munugode Assembly seat.He expressed his confidence that the Munugode residents of Munugode will give an historic vote to support him in this battle against TRS and KCR.

He said that CM KCR denied him appointment when he wanted to meet with him to discuss the progress of Munugode.

Rajagopal Reddy said KCR and his family were taking advantage of Telangana.

He repeated that only the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are able to bring an end to the anarchy of the TRS.
