Many theaters were facing closure, despite offering free tickets and attractive deals.Prakash Raj, in response to Kanganas plea, commented on Platform X, stating that India had gained independence relatively recently in 2014 and that the situation would likely improve with time.Regarding Tejas box office performance, the film had a modest opening day, earning Rs 1.25 crore in net revenue across India.Moving to the second day, the film maintained this figure, bringing the total to Rs 2.50 crore.On Saturday, October 28, 2023, Tejas had an overall occupancy rate of 7.58% for its Hindi version.The cast of Tejas also includes Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Vishak Nair.
