It is known news that Megastar Chiranjeevi is shooting for an upcoming film ‘Acharya’, which is carrying the social message where he will be seen as a professor.This movie is being helmed by Koratala Siva, and Ram Charan is playing an extended cameo in this big-budget movie.
It is also official that Ram Charan will be seen in a crucial and powerful role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movie ‘Acharya’ and the actor already commenced shoot recently.Ram Charan has recently joined back the sets after recovering from COVID-19 and shooting is in full swing.There are a lot of speculations about the leading lady beside Ram Charan in ‘Acharya’.Rashmika was the frontrunner but the actress failed to allocate her dates.
Now Pooja Hegde has been approached and the actress signed the project immediately.Pooja Hegde has earlier danced with Ram Charan in a special song in blockbuster ‘Rangasthalam’.
The chartbuster song “Jigelu Rani” was hot on the pair and looks like they will hit the screens again while shaking a leg.The combination episodes between Chiranjeevi and Charan will be shot soon.Charan and Pooja Hegde will complete their portions for ‘Acharya’ by February.
Ram Charan will play the guest role under the title ‘Siddha’ but will make his screen presence for one hour in the film.Although Ram Charan has shared screen space with Chiranjeevi in ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Bruce Lee’, this is the first time, both will be working in full-length roles.Moreover, Pooja Hegde has high-profile movies like ‘Radhe Shyam’, ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’, and ‘Cirkus’ in her kitty so it is a brave move for her to do such a short role in this film.
‘Acharya’ is gearing up for a May 7th release and is produced by Matinee Entertainments.
