NTR Jr, the global sensation who starred in the blockbuster ‘RRR’, is ready to take on a new challenge in his upcoming action-drama film ‘Devara’.The film promises to be a stunning visual feast with a rich and complex story.
The director of the film, Koratala Siva, announced on social media that ‘Devara’ will be released in two parts, as the story is too vast and intricate to be told in one.He said in a video message, mixing Telugu and English: “The film is set in the forgotten lands of coastal India, where the canvas is huge.As we began filming, we realized that the canvas was expanding with every scene.The film has many characters, each with their own significance and depth, which we cannot do justice to in one part.”
He added: “So, we decided to split this epic story and canvas into two parts.The story will remain the same, but the scale will be enhanced.‘Devara’ will be one of the biggest canvases ever seen on screen, and it will be presented in two parts.The first part will release on April 5, 2024, and it will be just the beginning.”
‘Devara’ is a grand spectacle that boasts of an elaborate worldbuilding with a lot of lore and character development.The film has been kept under wraps, with very little information revealed about the plot or the characters.
NTR Jr’s role is especially mysterious, as it is not clear whether he plays a hero or an anti-hero.
The film has an ensemble cast that includes Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Shine Tom Chacko, Mera Srikanth and Prakash Raj in important roles.
