Telugu blockbuster film Yamaleela will soon see its sequel to be directed by SV Krishna Reddy.The director has himself officially confirmed the news in a recent interview.
Yamaleela had made loads of money at the box-office in 1994.The film that released on April 28, 1994, had Ali, Indraja, Kaikala Satyanarayana and Brahmanandam in the lead roles.
Now, after a gap of 20 years, Krishna Reddy is making a sequel to the film.
Mohan Babu is essaying the role of Yama Dharma Raja and once again Brahmanandam and Tanikella Bharani will be seen as Chitragupta and Thota Ramudu in this remake
Trade sources said that Mohanbabu was offered a very fancy rate for which he could not say a “NO”.Going by reports Mohan Babu reportedly taken Rs.1.5 crore as remuneration.Krishna Reddy has roped in actresses Sada and Nisha Kothari as the leading ladies for this socio fantasy
The film will be produced by Achchi Reddy under Manisha Films banner.
The movie will soon start rolling and is likely to release in early 2015! We hope Yamaleela 2 will be a bigger success than its prequel
