Megastar Announces Free Covid Vaccination For Cine Workers

It is a known fact that Megastar Chiranjeevi has started an initiative to start a trust called Corona Crisis Charity Mana Kosam (CCC Mana Kosam) with an aim to offer financial assistance to the daily wage workers in the industry during the Coronavirus pandemic which started last year.CCC has sent groceries and other necessary assistance to hundreds of families associated with the film industry at the time of lockdown.

Now the latest update is that Megastar has announced a free Covid vaccination drive for eligible individuals of the cine field on the behalf of Corona Crisis Charity.Chiranjeevi partnered with Appolo hospitals to get the cinema workers vaccinated and said that eligible cine workers including crew members and film journalists aged over 45 can get themselves vaccinated at free of cost.

The vaccination drive is powered by Apollo 24/7 and further details in this regard will be unveiled in the days to follow.Chiru shared a video regarding this on his Twitter account and has appealed to the film workers and journalists to utilize the opportunity to get vaccinated and wear masks to protect themselves from the virus.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi’s most awaited project ‘Acharya‘ has been on sets for quite some time.However, it’s known that the film’s shoot will be halted after completing a fight sequence between Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Sonu Sood as there is a huge spike in Covid cases.The film is directed by Koratala Siva and is produced under Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment.Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde play the female leads while Manisharma provides the film’s music.
