New Delhi, Aug 31 : LG Electronics on Wednesday launched the first TV with an OLED that bends to 42 inches screen.The display can be set from flat to a stunningly curving, allowing users to choose among 20 levels of curvature to provide an immersive gaming experience.Furthermore the display of LG OLED Flex TV has the ability to tilt 10 degrees, or away up five degrees from the viewer.It also can be adjusted in heightthat can be adjusted upwards or downwards by 140 millimetersto ensure ergonomically comfortable experience the company claimed in an announcement.
LG OLED Flex owners can automatically bend and adjust the TV to its curved mode by pressing an exclusive button located on the remote.
The revolutionary form factor is possible thanks to LG’s backlight-free, self-lit , OLED technology.
“Whether flat or curving or curved, the LG OLED evo technology-equipped LX3 provides the same outstanding image quality and efficiency that has created LG OLED the choice of avid consumers all over the world,” said the company.
The company hasn’t yet announced prices for the new television that will be displayed during the IFA event in Germany.
The TV is loaded with unique capabilities and features that offer gamers greater control over the gaming experience.
For instance, they can alter the dimensions of the image displayed on the screen in accordance with their personal preferences or the type of game they’re playing.
Fans of role-playing games (RPGs) or racing games, or platformers may require the entire 42 inches of the screen, whereas real-time strategy (RTS) or first-person shooter (FPS) gamers may prefer a size of 32 or 27 inches that lets them be able to see everything happening in the game’s world at one glance.
The latest Game app can be customized to display screensavers, which provide shortcuts to popular applications, like Twitch and YouTube and also provides an inventory of connected input devices from external sources on the same screen.
Gamers will also appreciate the Multi View mode that allows gamers to look at content from two sources simultaneously and choose the audio they wish to hear.
This means that they can play games on a PC or console game, while also watching YouTube videos streaming from their mobile simultaneously.
