JC Diwakar Reddy and his brother JC Prabhakar Reddy owned ‘JC Diwakar Travels’ has been the centre of controversy since YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came into power.Since then, JC Diwakar Reddy has been on the receiving end.AP police busted the forgery racket, which saw JC Diwakar Travels employees forging police officials, revenue officials, and other government-gazetted officers’ signatures.During the police investigation, the JC Diwakar Travels employees confessed that only on the persistence of their bosses they had forged the signatures.
While this enquiry is going on, the police revealed startling information.According to the latest updates, these employees also created fake insurance documents on the name of ‘United India Insurance’ company to run the buses.
‘They used to purchase vehicles from scrap, and completely refurbish them.Then, they forged the signatures of government officials to change the BS3 registration to BS4.Now we also learned that they even created fake insurance certificates.
In our investigation, we found registration documents of 154 Lorries, registered in Nagaland and Karnataka.
They usually club two Lorries to make one bus, and those buses form the fleet of the JC Diwakar Travels.As of now, we seized 20 Lorries’, said a police official.
Within months after YS Jagan coming into the government, JC Diwakar Travels suspended its business.
