Seoul, 22 Nov : , Former South Korean President Park Geun Hye was taken into hospital Monday due to an unknown illness.Officials said.Park, who is currently in Seoul Detention Centre serving her 22 year sentence, was moved to the Samsung Medical Centre by the Justice Ministry earlier today.She was being treated, Yonhap News Agency reports.
This was her third hospitalization in this year.
Park, now 69, had previously been admitted in January and July for left-shoulder surgery and lumbar disk pain.
Officials stated that it wasn’t clear when the patient would be released from the hospital.
Park is currently serving 22 years in prison after being impeached for corruption and influence-peddling.
