Hyderabad : TDP protestors rally against Naidu’s arrest hits Metro trains

In a bold move, supporters of the TDP took their demand for the release of former Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu to the metro trains in Hyderabad.Donning black shirts and T-shirts as a sign of protest, they aimed to voice their opposition to Naidu’s arrest during a unique demonstration held between 10:30 am and 11:30 am.

However, tensions flared when they encountered resistance at the metro stations due to their attire.Citing technical issues, police and metro security personnel temporarily closed the Miyapur metro station.

Yet, after facing mounting pressure from the protesters, they ultimately permitted them to use the metro rail.At Miyapur metro station, AP MLA Undavalli Sridevi joined the protesters, showing her solidarity.

It was reported that some of the protesters, who were IT employees, changed into different clothes at LB Nagar station to avoid further resistance.

Chandrababu Naidu’s supporters have been conducting peaceful demonstrations across the city for weeks, vehemently condemning his arrest.

Additionally, several MLAs from the ruling party in Telangana have voiced their support for Naidu.To maintain law and order, the police relocated protesters to a nearby police station in Madhura Nagar.

Meanwhile, a metro passenger raised questions about the choice of venue for the protest, suggesting that the demonstrators direct their efforts to Vijayawada instead.The passenger highlighted the ongoing judicial process and urged them not to disrupt the metro rail journey.
