Before the awards ceremony, Hrithik walked the green carpet, where he posed for the paparazzi.Amidst the intense moments of striking poses, one paparazzo’s comment caught Hrithik’s attention and made him burst into laughter.

The Indian paparazzi had gained fame for their humorous one-liners at the NMACC event in Mumbai earlier this year.

At the IIFA 2023 green carpet in Abu Dhabi, when the anchor introduced Hrithik as the “Greek God of Bollywood” loudly on the microphone, a paparazzo humorously shouted, “Abe chilla mat!” (Hey, don’t scream!) This unexpected reaction tickled Hrithik’s funny bone.

Later, the paparazzi asked Hrithik how he was doing, and the actor reciprocated the courtesy with a warm response.

During the awards ceremony, Hrithik was presented with the Best Actor award.

In his acceptance speech, the superstar expressed his gratitude, mentioning that his journey with the character of Vedha had started in Abu Dhabi.He reminisced about giving his first shot as Vedha in the city and stated that it felt like life had come full circle.

Hrithik credited the character of Vedha for helping him tap into a newfound madness within himself, which he hadn’t known existed.He thanked the universe and Vedha for enabling him to discover that madness and find the strength to embrace it.

Hrithik also expressed his love and appreciation for his fans, assuring them that he would never take them for granted.“Vikram Vedha” is an official Hindi remake of a Tamil film of the same name, originally starring R.Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.The movie revolves around a tough cop named Vikram (played by Saif Ali Khan), who embarks on a mission to track and apprehend a notorious gangster named Vedha (played by Hrithik Roshan).

The story takes the audience through a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase, where Vedha, a master storyteller, helps Vikram unravel the truth through a series of captivating narratives that raise moral dilemmas.The remake is directed by Pushkar and Gayathri, the same duo who directed the original “Vikram Vedha.” Hrithik took the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate their work in his acceptance speech.

Looking ahead, Hrithik will be seen in a different avatar in his upcoming film “Fighter,” which also stars Deepika Padukone.Additionally, he has “War 2” in the pipeline, where he will be sharing the screen with Jr NTR.
