Partners with SHEEP, NGO (Society of Health, Education and Economical Progress) Procured and distributed daily essentials, cleaning materials, clothes, masks, and more to girls/women from an age group of 4 years to 20 years
Hyderabad, March 8th, 2022: Strengthening support to the communities, GUS Education India (GEI) has come forward to help the Society of Health, Education and Economical Progress (SHEEP) by providing Nutrition, and Hygiene Care to girls/women from an age group of 4 years to 20 years.GEI procured and distributed – 180+ kgs/litres of daily essentials (Wheat, Rice, Salt, Sugar, Spices, Oil, Dals & Pulses, etc.), 60+ cleaning materials (Brooms, Garbage Bins, Mops, Buckets, Mugs, etc.), 50+ regular hygiene supplies (Soaps, Cleaners, Sanitary Pads, etc.), Masks, Groceries, Clothes, Stationary and more.This initiative aims at extending support to the community GEI operates in.
Shashi Jaligama, Managing Director, GUS Education India said, “We have made a humble beginning with SHEEP and are only planning to extend support wherever possible to help communities strive.We considered SHEEP because it closely aligns with our focus on gender diversity initiatives.
We have done a fantastic job as an organization in building 40%+ women employees, and it would only set an example to support girl children and women at a community level.We plan to initiate more purpose-driven community initiatives soon.”
