The cradle was intricately designed with unique carvings and a sturdy construction.Upasana looked stunning in a maroon-printed salwar suit as she posed with the cradle.
What makes this cradle special is that it was handcrafted by young women survivors of sex trafficking.
Expressing her gratitude, Upasana thanked the women from the Prajwala Foundation who made the cradle.
She emphasized the importance of her child being aware of the journey of transformation and self-respect undertaken by these women.The cradle symbolizes strength, resilience, and hope.
In a previous interview with ETimes, Upasana shared some of the preparations she and Ram have been making for their soon-to-be-born child.They have customized wallpaper featuring the Amrabad Tiger Reserve in the baby’s room, as well as a crib made by a charity in Hyderabad that supports HIV+ women.
All the items they are preparing for their child are made with organic fabrics and feature meaningful motifs.
Ram Charan also revealed a special connection between Japan and Upasana’s pregnancy.The couple visited Japan in October 2022 while promoting Ram’s film “RRR.” In an interview, Ram shared that Upasana is seven months pregnant and that the magic happened during their time in Japan.He expressed his love for Japan and how it holds a special place in their hearts.
