A newly married IT professional of India has lost his life in Australia after falling off from his apartment’s balcony.According to local police, the victim, identified as Pankaj Saw, was talking on the phone, to his wife in India, when he fell from the balcony in Macquarie Park at about 1 am.
Pankaj was found dead with serious head and internal injuries.Pankaj was working for an Indian IT firm, which has offices in North Sydney.
According to his manager, Karen Waller, Pankaj recently got hitched and returned to Sydney for his work.As per sources Pankaj was speaking with his wife leaning on the wooden support in the balcony and he lost the balance.
Pankaj works for Tech Mahindra and lives in Macquarie Park on Cottonwood Crescent.Cops from Ryde Local Area Command established a crime scene at the location.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.The police have recovered a damaged cordless phone on the accident spot and all arrangements are being made to send the deceased to his home in India.
