There has been a lot of fuss regarding the release of the two films ‘Virataparvam’ starring Rana Daggubati, and the Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit film ‘Drishyam-2’.These two films would be released under the Suresh Productions banner.
For the time being, there has been no update regarding the release of these two films.
However, recently, the Suresh productions gave a hint regarding the release of these films through their official Twitter handle.
The tweet read that the information on the ‘Drushyam-2’ film will be announced on Friday afternoon.However, film sources said that there is no chance of a theatrical release of the film.
The film is set to release in OTT.
Speculations are rife that Drushyam-2 will be released on Amazon Prime.There is a buzz in the film industry that since ‘Drushyam-2’ is a remade movie, the filmmakers are planning to skip the theatrical release for this film.
Previously, Narappa’s original Asuran was also released on Amazon Prime after its theatrical release.
After receiving a huge response, ‘Narappa’ was released directly on OTT.Now in the case of Drushyam-2, there is no theatrical release for both versions.It seems like the film will be released directly on OTT in the same OTT platform in different languages.
