New Delhi, December 30, : .Aam Aadmi Party MLA Atishi visited Thursday the Rajan Babu Institute of Pulmonary Medicine and Tuberculosis Hospital, in the capital.
He expressed surprise that patients were being treated at a facility that was declared unsafe and could fall any time.We have heard how Delhi’s BJP-led MCD has failed its citizens on the front of health, including in the areas of medicine, infrastructure, and other issues.
Today, however, we visited this hospital, which is currently in disarray, and patients are still being treated there,” she stated in a Twitter video.
MCD has actually put up signs outside the hospital warning people that the building is dangerous.Atishi can be seen in the video pointing out that “It’s unbelievable that such an institution exists in the middle of the capital.”
Atishi said, “It appears that the BJP led MCD has left Delhi people to die.”
The Rajan Babu Institute of Pulmonary Medicine and Tuberculosis in GTB Nagar (RBIPMT), was to become a multi-speciality facility.The hospital was built in 1935 on a vast 79-acre site.
It is managed by the North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
