Corona cases have declined sharply across India.New cases of corona have been reported less frequently over the past few days.
Although there has been a slight increase in corona deaths there has been a decline in new cases of daily corona.Many states are easing sanctions as the effect of the Omicron variant third wave in the country is also diminishing.
The country has registered 19,968 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours.As well as 48,847 recovery cases, 673 new deaths were reported.
The number of corona active cases in the country has now dropped to 2,24,187 (0.52 per cent).The daily positivity rate was 1.68 percent.In the last 24 hours, 48,847 people have recovered from the corona.The total number of recoveries has reached 4,20,86,383.So far 175.33 crore vaccine doses have been received under the vaccination drive across the country.So far, a total of 5,11,903 people in the country have died with corona.
Covid vaccination process is in full swing.So far, 82 percent of adults have received two doses of corona vaccine.97 percent received the first dose of the vaccine.Many experts point out that the number of people who have been vaccinated to reduce the impact of the Third Wave is high.Two crore teenagers aged 15-18 were given two doses of the vaccine.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has announced the completion of two doses of corona vaccination for two crore people between the ages of 15-18.
