It is a matter of concern that more than a thousand corona deaths are being reported in India in a single day.On the one hand, while corona cases are declining, on the other hand the rising death toll is a matter of grave concern.Between Monday and Tuesday, the country registered 1,67,059 new corona cases.The number of cases has dropped by 20 per cent compared to the previous day.The details were revealed by the Union Ministry of Health in the Covid-19 Health Bulletin released on Tuesday.In the last 24 hours across the country, 1192 people have died from the pandemic.
That brings the total number of corona deaths in India so far to 4,96,242.There are currently 17,43,059 active corona cases in the country.The daily positivity will reach 11.69%.The week positivity rate will drop to 15.25%.
Between 8am on Monday and 8am on Tuesday, 2,54,076 people recovered from the epidemic, bringing the total number of those who have recovered so far to 3,92,30,198.The recovery rate in the country has reached 94.60%.A total of 14,28,672 corona tests were performed in the last 24 hours and a total of 73.06 crore corona tests have been performed so far.
Corona vaccine distribution will continue across the country.As many as 166.68 crore vaccine doses were administered across the country till 8 am on Tuesday, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.The Union Ministry of Health said people should be vaccinated and also take booster dose if required as per government instruction.Medical officials suggest that people must follow corona rules while traveling.
