Bholaa Shankar is an official remake of the Tamil film Vedalam, which originally starred Ajith in the role of a caring brother with a violent past.In the Telugu version, Chiranjeevi will portray the same character, while Keerthy Suresh will play his sister.Tamannaah Bhatia has been paired opposite Chiranjeevi.The film is being directed by Meher Ramesh and is scheduled for release later this year.
