TDP politburo member Bonda Uma made key remarks in the wake of the division of districts.He demanded that the East Krishna district be named NTR and the western Krishna district be named Vangaveeti Mohanaranga.
To this end, Bonda Uma staged a protest at Vijayawada Dharna Chowk.His initiation was supported by Radharanga Allied leader Cheenupati Srinu and Kapu Sangh leaders.
Bonda Uma was incensed that the power was in the hands of the Jagan government which was dividing the districts as it pleased.He questioned what was the use with the new districts.
Deposed whether the new job will come to any.The YCP is said to have formed new districts for political purposes.He questioned why the government was not responding and CM Jagan was not speaking out despite the large-scale concerns across the state over the division of districts.
They demanded that the area where NTR was born, Nimmakuru, the district headquarters of Machilipatnam should be named as NTR.They want to name Vijayawada district after Vangaveeti Ranga who sacrificed his life fighting against the problems of the poor.YCP is acting in a way that demeans Ranga fans.
Bonda Uma warned that the movement would be intensified in the coming days by involving all parties.If the government does not respond, protest will take place infront of jagan house.
