Vijay Antony’s much anticipated Bichagadu 2, a spiritual sequel to his blockbuster hit Bichagadu was released in theaters recently.The movie was released with a normal hype, though it is a sequel, no one expected it to create any wonders.
However, it looks like the Telugu States audiences have lapped this movie as it received superb openings and became a clean blockbuster at the box office.
The movie’s AP/TG rights have been bought for 6 Crores advance amount and the film has collected 6.75 Crores approx share for 5 days and all the involved buyers are in profits now.In the Nizam the film has collected 2.35 Crores share and in Ceded it got around 1 Crore.In Andhra, the film’s share is around 3.4 Crores.The overall Telugu states share of Bichagadu 2 is 6.75 Crores, and if it holds the same momentum in the coming days, the movie has all chances to cross the double-digit share.
Despite the below-par reviews of the film, it has still managed to pull in crowds to the theaters, and it has become a clean blockbuster at the box office now.It is once again proved that the Telugu audiences always encourage movies which they like, irrespective of what is the language of the movie and who is the hero in it.
Vijay Antony has not only acted in this film but is also the writer, director, and music director.It also stars Kavya Thapar in the female lead role, with Dev Gill, John Vijay, and Radha Ravi, Mansoor Ali Khan, Y G Mahendran in the other crucial roles.This film’s cinematography is handled by Vijay Milton and Om Prakash, and it is produced by Fatima Vijay Antony under the banner of Vijay Antony Productions.
