After that, Bajaj stopped manufacturing all scooters and focussed on motorbikes.According to the latest news, Bajaj Chetak would be re-introduced into the market once again.
This time not as a 150 cc 4-stroke engine vehicle, but as an ‘Electric Vehicle’.The official launch of the Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter will take place in January 14th.Industry sources confirmed that the price would be anywhere between Rs 1 Lakh to Rs 1.2 Lakh.Though few tag this as ‘higher price’, many believe that Bajaj can pull off, given its huge leadership, and the name it had built for itself over decades.
Will have to wait and watch, whether Bajaj Chetak will stand the test of time this time around!
