San Francisco, Aug 23 : Tech giant Apple’s highly anticipated M2-powered 16-inch and 14-inch MacBook Pros are expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023.According to the renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo coming MacBook Pro with new processors will begin production in mass quantities in the fourth quarter of this year.
“New 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with new processors will begin production in 4Q22,”” Kuo wrote on the microblogging platform Twitter.
“Given the TSMC’s announcement that 3nm process will generate revenue in 1H23 processors of 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models may still use the advanced 5nm node.” Kuo added.
The current M2 models include 13-inch MacBook Pro and the revamped MacBook Air.
Previous reports indicated the possibility that M2 Pro and M2 Max-equipped MacBook Pro models will arrive by the end of the year.
The latest Mac models will have more internal specifications, but not receiving any significant changes.
In the case of Mac, Apple generated revenue of $7.4 billion, despite supply limitations as well as negative impacts in the month of June.
Mac revenues declined by 10 percent due to supply chain issues and the unfavorable exchange rates for foreign currency.
