A team of researchers has developed a new app that solves their problem by listening to the sound of children crying.This smartphone app decodes baby crying.
Developed by National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin This app is called The Infant Crys Translator.
The scientists who created the app say that it can detect different patterns of baby crying.
The baby's crying noise is compared to a large database and its results tell us why the baby is crying.Press the app recording button for 10 seconds while the baby cries.
It will be uploaded to SoundCloud Drive.After following various procedures the app will check its result in 15 seconds and send all the details to the user's mobile phone.
To make this app, the researchers collected 2 lakh recordings of 100 newborns crying.
According to the English newspaper Daily Mail, the app can detect up to 4 different types of crying sounds in children, says a researcher.
The baby is hungry, sleepy, in pain or has a wet diaper.It tells what the reason is.
